Qualifications and Requirements
While we have a variety of positions available, we prioritize candidates who have a good work ethic and a reliable track record of showing up on time and doing their job. We require that applicants hold an Ontario Security Guard Licence, are legally qualified to work in Canada, and have open availability for full-time work. It’s also essential that you own a smartphone with data and have aspirations to progress in the security industry.
While not strictly required, it’s helpful if you have completed a diploma or certificate program related to security or criminal justice studies. Familiarity with Section 494 of the Criminal Code of Canada, powers of arrest, and the Trespass to Property Act is also beneficial. Excellent communication skills, fluency in English (written and oral), and bilingualism (French/English) are all pluses. Additionally, you should be physically capable of standing or walking for extended periods, have reliable transportation and possess a high school diploma (or equivalent) and prior security experience.
